...with lowering springs on them. How long have you ridden with them before the stock shocks gave out?

nobody's have "given out" yet
like I said, they don't make any dampers and struts other than OEM so you're kinda stuck with what you got
but I haven't seen any blow out yet, including the 48k on mine-Vinny

I put Progress springs on a friends RL, he's prolly logged 15-20k since then, and 30k+ overall. No complaints as of yet.
I have seen a couple ION rear shocks go out, but they had holes in them hahaComment

just looking for insight before I invest in a $150-$200 part. Thanks guys.
The reason I ask though is because every other car I owned, if you got aftermarket springs w/out getting aftermarket shocks, the stock shocks would blow out sooner rather than later. I guess this isn't the case with GM parts? (for the most part)Comment

well for the most part yeah that's not the case, most stuff is made pretty well. when you get into a lot more aggressive stuff is when you would need to worry about that-Vinny

I'm running eibach's and love them. also very impressed with sprint.
B+G, progress, and skunk2 also make them but I don't like them nearly as much.
not sure about the 07's, it's definitely possible though.-Vinny
