• S-series coilovers

John McQuay of saturnspeed.com posted this to the SPC list. I thought it might interest some people over here.

Who would seriously be interested in a fully adjustable S-Series
coilover kit? This would be similar to the Carrera Coilovers that SPS
used to sell.

-24 way rebound and compression adjusability
-Corrosion and rust resistant
-46mm piston
-Seperate Height and Preload adjustment
-Mono-Tube design rather than Twin-Tube
-Lifetime Warranty

Price would be "around" $1100 a set. Spring rates are to be
determined but since it looks like this system will use stanard coils
you could switch them out to whatever you want.

I am trying to gauge interest before I go any farther with attempting to
setup a deal. I am not looking to make any money off this, I just don't
want the S-Series parts to die off completely.

Thread on Saturnspeed here:

If you are interested, drop me an e-mail. We will probably need 10
orders to get the company to start production. For some reason companies
don't seem real interested in the "old" S-series.

Here's another option, already exists:

http://www.ground-control-store.com/pro ... /CA=-%2024

Ground Control is good stuff, not the crappy no-name eBay specials.

The only problem is although you can easily get stiffer springs, you need stiffer struts to dampen them properly - otherwise you'll just pogo down the road/track like a riced out Civic. May be OK for a street application, though, with KYB GR2s and not *too* stiff spring rates...

really because it uses the exact same crappy design as all the other coilovers like the e-bay gimmicks.

bingo

those are sad excuses for coilovers, it upsets me to see ground control's name on them

I'm hoping that AMR does a good job though.

Since saturnspeed is down, I was told that some of the people that joined are members of this forum. I am looking for a easiest way to stay in communication with my customers as well as keep people informed about the product. If you are part of the buy @ turbosaturns can you guys post here. Were ready to go and I picked up the stock suspension.
