if the rear bar on SMS is the Progress bar, it's definitely worth the money. Ties in the rear end a ton. I ran one before the accident and would now except the rear end in my car isn't compatible with it. Definitely worth the money though.-Vinny

I have one, just not the one I had before
the rear end they put in the Ion as a replacement is a Redline unit, so as a result I had to buy a rear bar designed for that.
in comparison, it's just as stiff, but a lot harsher ride as a result.-Vinny
