  • Strut Tower Bar

Just got my JS STB for the ION today. With all the suspension mods that I have so far...this is close to the best one. Before the STB the car was sloppy and a bit sluggish in the turns. Add the STB and HOLY SHIT...that car feels planted to the ground.

Went on a few twisties around here and she held firm. She's like a whole new car. A few minor creaks inside the cabin from the new shifts in pressure but all in all, AWESOME mod for the Money.

    ATM I have:
    Progress Springs
    RL 23mm Front Swaybar
    Progress 22mm Rear Swaybar
    JS Struttower Bar

Next thing will be a set of shocks: Probably RL shocks

a guy named Jason Smith over at redline forums, great guy, did a bar for blueiondubv as well. it's the same style that SMS uses, but is way cheaper. Torque Forward also uses this style for around the same price. I received some parts from them recently and man do I like them a ton so far, strong stuff right there. I'd recommend either of them, maybe Torque right now more because Jason just had a kid born and is real busy lately.

Pressures and stresses of all kinds thermal and mechanical loading across the board escalate to extreme levels. A Chevrolet 5.7-liter LS1 V8 with this much specific power (horsepower per cubic inch) would be making 2,137 hp

it's a company run by Cynic and Rice Eater over on Redlineforums.com
Rice is a good guy, been real helpful in getting info about his parts, and his actual parts ship pretty quick. I highly recommend him.
