  • Diamond and Slotted Rotors

What do you guys think of these? My rotors are wearing a bit, and I already changed the pads to ceramic ones and already use high grade brake fluid. Whats your opinion on these hear diamond slotted ones? I am sure theyll work fine, but think its worth the dollar?

I onyl want the FRONT wheels. Therse are 160. And you are right, they arent ventillated, but they are slotted and diamond cut patterned.

For the same money Frank, you could get the Powerslot rotors. I just bought a full set for mine after hearing nothing but good things about Powerslot's reputation.

A friend at a local speedshop has had a set on his VW for the last four years and loves 'em. He has raced his car at four enduro events at Daytona and they are still on the car.

He gets them for $76 each, if I remember correctly.

they look too expensive for what they are. I had powerslots on mine and they were great and lasted forever!!!!!!!! That, and the diamond cut is going to eat the pad ALOT more than just the slotted. I'd either get slotted & drilled or just slotted. You're not going to notice anything with those cuts, other than a "cool" look and faster wearing pads...

save your $$$ and get plain old regular rotors for your car. spend money on pads/shoes and tires if you wanna stop faster...

yes, that will help him stop faster even w/o the rotors but it wont dissipate the heat that builds up b/t the rotor and pad... Brake fade is a big problem with stock rotors and high performance pads. You'll stop really fast once, then have to wait a few minutes for the rotor to cool down. I see what youre saying but I think Frank is looking more for and all around performance brake system. I dunno... I got my powerslots for free so I aint complaining. If I had to buy them, I'd prolly spend my money on something more motor-wise
