here are links to the rules in this series, and a link to the series schedule for 2009 . you can also find more info on all of the CRA divisions at http://www.craracing.net/index.html
depending on where you are from, it is a great series for our division. many of the local tracks have a fwd division, but they are not run as well as the CRA series is. for me it is about a 4 hour or so drive each way to get to Winchester, but it is well worth it.
i see you are from the chicago area. there are a few of us from nwi that make the drive. a couple of guys from blue island have run it too.
come on down to Illiana Speedway Saturday. Its a test and tune day. free grandstand admission.

10. Only four, or six cylinder naturally aspirated engines will be allowed. No rotary engines. Only the complete stock engine for the car as

emission, air conditioning, and power steering parts are permitted.
So even if running a '92 Dual-Cam, you'd have to switch to a manifold?
I must say, I'm certainly interested in this for the future. I even know someone with an SC2 that'd have almost 2/4's of the prep work done....
I'll keep reading up on this.

that is correct. i had a header off of a 92. they said it had to go. good thing i still had the manifold and down pipe laying around. they do all they can to keep the field balanced. if you get a chance to come out to Illiana this Saturday, let me know, I can give you a walk around my car so that you get an idea what they expect as far as what is allowed or not. mine has been through their tech inspection several times.
