• Greddy Boost controller question

I have internal wastegates. Im wondering if i set the boost to 10lbs without the controller, then install the controller, will i be able to REDUCE the pressure using the controller or only raise it from that point???

you can only raise it. the lowest you can go is whatever the actuator itself is set to.

good thing is if you ever went external (if you could fit it) then you would only need 1 wastegate

yeah, i think i could fit the crossover tube and flange for the external.

on the externals do they stay fully closed until the target boost is reached or do they slowly start to bleed off exhaust like the internals?

cuz i noticed that when i was running a higher boost setting (the WG valve pulled tightly closed) it would spool up a lot faster too.

yeah, it'll bleed off the same as internal, just not quite as bad.

a nice boost controller will make a huge difference with that. my blitz has a good impact on spool up.

Ok, thanks. i guess i'll hold off on the controller then, until i get a good external.
