locating tec3 kit

  • locating tec3 kit

    i have found the tec3 kit (dfu, harness, sensors, ecu) but dont know if i can trust the site. are there any reputable sites that carry the kit and dont cost outrageous amount? i have to be missing something here because its been a little hard for me to locate the kits. place i found it on wants $2535

              It's retail is around the 2500 area. You could always call electormotive and see how is the nearest dealer that is around you...they might be able to tell you if there is a shop in the area that seasoned with the system.

                probally for the vdub because they have the 60-1 wheel already alot of times, and they prob. load the base map, and maybe the harness is setup for a vdub....call em and ask...

                  electromotive has a dealer listing on their site. might want to check that out.

                  with all the fixens, your going to pay $2000~$2300 depending on where you get it.

                  i used to get them from eip tuning. they suck ass though. swithced the price on me and took forever. i don't advise buying anything from them.

                      I'm sure you've thought about this already, but find some one that can lathe your 7" trigger wheel so that it fits perfectly around the outter ridge. Not something that HAS to be done, just a hell of a lot better idea to attach it to the pulley directly/evenly/perfectly concentric than 1 huge bolt through the middle... coughjwcoughmecough... and find a solid pickup mount design.
