  • AIC Wiring

    Just got my new aic and i need to wire it to a switched ignition source and a tach signal...if someone could just save me some time by telling me where i can locate a switched ignition source and i am going to splice into the tachometer in the cluster but i don't know what wire so if someone could help me out thanks
    Go turbo or don't go at all!

    what year/type of car? it may be easier to tap nearer the PCM for your tach source. for the ign you could just hook it to your fusebox on something not being used like the AC or CDchanger

        its a 94 sc2....and where on the pcm for the tach

          Igntion B+ A7


          Tach could be one of any of these depending on how your device reads RPM

          EST 6X refrence- D11
          EST Refrence high- D12

          EST Igntion -C11 ( I would start with this one)
          -6S Resident Mechanical Forensics member #001.

            Did you mean EIC and not AIC?

                im still soo confused about the tach signal....im new to the whole wiring thing so if you can be really descriptive it would be great...thanks

                      thanks...i figured out what you meant by this and i wired the tach signal to c11 i will let you know how it works out when i fire it up....thanks again for your help
