  • cooling fan question

    today i tore everything down and tomorrow we start putting all the turbo parts on.....but i have one last issue to address....slim fans

    what are most turbo people here running?two 10 inch fans?
    two 12inch
    one 12inch?

    I have one 14" fan that flows a good 1800cfm I think.

    It cools shit down quick.
    07 Redline w/ stuff.<br /><br />89 Civic hatch w/o stuff.<br /><br />96 SL2 that dont need stuff.

      (non turbo) I run 2 - 10" fans at 1000cfm each.

        Minimum 1800cfm.
        You want atleast 2200-2400cfm if you still have a/c.


        Don't get the cheap fans from autozone or Advanced Discount.

          yep. With a/c, you'll definately need a higher cfm.

          check http://www.summitracing.com for decent prices on fans.
          I just picked up 2 Proform 10" slim fans for under $100.

            well there is no ac so im thinkin either 2 10" or one 14"
            still reccomend 2200-2400 cfm even tho the ac is gone?

                            i ended up going with a 14" that flows 1850cfm i think from fredd mott racing......came with little mounting clips and i zip tied it to the rad....thats the right way to do it right?
