good luck with that one.... what are you wiring the E-clutch into? whos making the manifold for ya? I really hope to see it work for ya man, just a lot of fab involved and without anything but a Blower and a Kazoo...... you have a long way to go haha

Is that a roots type? Looks like it. If so, he means your intake manifold. And if you are asking if i/c piping is the same as a manifold, you have a longgggg way to go.

sigh............. ok...... with that style blower, you have to have it mounted somehow it the INTAKE manifold, ya cant really just have it hanging anywhere around the engine bay lol. their is a white one that made one hell of a manifold, someone will know who im talking about. its on turbosaturns, You need some way to mount it to your accessory drive belt so either, ditch the A/C or the Powersteering, second off after its mounted you will have to figure out the piping for the intercooler, If you wanted to be real different and somehow mount it on the ac side, then figure out some sort of plate to bring it down to piping, but that just seems like it would be a lot of trouble and possible not worth the trouble. Take a look at a redline sometime, that might give you some ideas for what you could do, I would really like to see this work, I am a big fan of the roots style, and have been toying with the idea also

Yeah. You are talking about nitrofumesrule. I believe there are a bunch of pics of his car on http://www.qksltwo.com/nitro.html as well.

We had an easier plan for Brian's. I hope Brian didn't have to sell it junk for some loot. I was really hoping to see a supercharged wagon beat up on some stangs.

ok with that supercharger, i dont know if its a twin screw or roots, but either way the intercooler will be between it and the intake manifold, so no intercooler piping. the throttle body mounts to the supercharger or anywhere before it, so its not pushing air through the throttle body.

maybe it could be mounted and set up like a centrifugal, but if its a roots naw, but it would take up a load of space to do so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not really, it's been done before, and Brian, Sam, and myself had everything planned out to be done, just didn't have the time. you would have to remove the a/c though to accomplish this.

yeah, but with the space i would just run a centrifugal although not the greatest for low rpm boost. but were you going to use a roots or twin screw? because the roots has the air compressed in the intake manifold which i guess running through the pipes might compress it, but twin screw i see it working out, but space wise i wouldnt

we were going to use that exact blower

it has been done a few times on other cars as well, works almost like a regular roots but with much better cooling for the charge is all.
