  • planning on boosting the wagon... maybe

    heres what i got together real quick (EBAY PRICES)

    IC - 99$
    T3 Turbo (no wastegate) - 300$
    2.5" piping - 135$
    SS oil lines (in/out with fittings) - 76$
    BOV pipe adaptor - 13$
    BOV - 30$
    8:1 FMU - 108$
    manual boost controller - 14$
    Wastgeate +flange + acc - 90$
    Both T3 flanges - 31$
    Apexi SAFC - 260$


    all prices are with shipping

    total comes to around, 1156$


    anything i missed? im making my own manifold...

        hasnt anyone learned anything about the FMU over these years?

            dont use one.


            OMG YOU GOT TAUGHT

            Get a cheap eic setup. They work reliably. Ive never had one of mine fail. They can fuel up to around 250+whp too with just two 42lb injectors.

              guess not

              you don't need one, you're going to run a SAFC2 from what it states. spend the money on injectors (since you don't even have them listed)

                  fmu is the cheap way of adding extra fuel, which normally becomes an issue. i can say my friend had first hand experience with the hahn racecraft fmu that came with the turbo kit on his eclipse (car was bought with it). well the car started running lean and found the fmu wasnt doing anything then started to leak fuel. so for a couple months or more he was driving a turbo car on pure stock fuel injection.

                  larger injectors and some kind of controller is the way to go, and if you use a safc with larger injectors, dont go too big and add a rising rate afpr so you can up base pressure to make injectors flow more.
