• So whats new in the turbo satty world?

Been out of it for a while, just trying to see where everything is at. What are the new developments? whats the number of successful turbo saturns rollin around? anyone develop a kit? let me know whats going on.

id say the main points are
there are 50+ turbo saturns in the us
theres a solid equation proven by several cars to getting 310-340whp, though no one's solidified it into a kit yet.
theres a saturn with twin super 60s
japanese ian made 400+whp and then tore it down to do it up even better, isn't running right now.
megasquirts do ignition control now
most of the turbo saturns are 7 psi or less, 200whp-ish.
different racing put a turbo saturn into the 11s
i dunno thats about all i can think of.

Yeap....good thing he had that 1 year warranty that didn't help

I have a megasuirt 2 on the car now, and a date with a dynomometer on march 29th. I have the MS2 running fuel and spark control. I switched to an SCE Titan copper headgasket since I was blowing the crap outta the stockers.

I have and intake manifold with a bored out LT-1 throttle body in the works annd plans to revise alot of stuff everything from the turbo to the throttle body...including the turbo) by the end of the year.

Has anyone looked into phenolic spacers? What seems to be the best data logger out there. Finally has the megasquirt been very reliable and a is anyone one running it with Larger injectors, FPR and fuel pump instead of running a secondary injector in the air stream?

Sorry for all the question. i was gonna turbo my sat if it hadn't gotten trashed. so i'm still curious as to whats going on.

most standalones have data logging in their software im pretty sure.
whats a phenolic spacer?
and im not aware of anyone using a megasquirt as an extra injector controller; most are using 4 1,000cc injectors with their megasquirt or other standalone. with a walboro 255lph or better for a fuel pump, and the stock fpr. those looking for power that is.
or, if this is what you're asking, there have been several cars run with only big injectors, or with only big injectors and a safc type piggyback controller.

that'd be awesome! What's the specs? Any pics or vids on his site? I haven't been there in a couple weeks.

the last public stuff he showed are on his site. that was a peak 388 whp. and a 12 second sae 1/4 mile i think, corrected for altitude. but like alot of us, theres a lot going on that he doesn't like to show off. if he gets a solid story together that he thinks would be the benefit for the community, and he's ready to surpass it already, is when he'll release info about himself.
what's a phenolic spacer?
crap ill google it.
edit: oooh that. i haven't heard of anyone using it; obviously it would be a waste on a stock intake manifold with all the coolant plumbed in it, but id think itd be worth it on a custom manifold.

No need for the spacer. I hear nitrous cools stuff down enough.
