  • S/C help

ok im going S/C soon, with an engine rebuild ( a diff engine) and im wondering what one would be good for a goal of 200-250....

and i want one with a pulley that will fit the saturn belt...

Running a 6 rib pulley is fine. It wont come off if you have the correct length belt.

Depends on too many things. Like where your blower is, what size the pulley is, if you have PS or not, or AC or not...

you have to measure with a rope once its all mocked up and add about half an inch.

I would subtract about 1/2 inche, that way you can get tension on it with the belt tensioner.

IT DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF SC YOU WANT TO RUN.

                    Axial? Centrifugal? WHICH TYPE NIGG?

Vortec V1 or V2 is where I would start looking.

See if you can find a few compressor maps and look them over.
