no particular reason, but i've just been wondering if the sc on the redline is adjustable in any way. increase the boost, etc. i know they make a different pulley, but is that all there is?

For right now there isn't much that can be done just for the supercharger. Even with an aftermarket pulley the computer will still limit the amount of boost being produced. The only difference I've seen from other guys that have smaller pulleys is the max boost comes in a little sooner. You could always pull the supercharger off and port it out, but that is a little bit more of a project.-NY

you could do a bypass mod allowing the bypass solenoid to keep boost and not open. The only problem with this is that the engine has shown to lean out at higher rpms. People that put their RL's on a dyno with an A/F meter have seen their redlines produce more power up to a point. The stock injectors are good for the stock boost levels, but have shown to be a little below the ideal level for all out performance. Every dyno sheet that I've seen with this mod have shown the engine wanting more fuel at the higher rpms. Some guys have actually seen a small decrease in power in the upper rpm range over stock, although they saw an increase in the lower to mid range.-NY

Even with this mod done the gains are minimal, if any. It has been argued many times by rl owners if it was even worth it. Oh, and the guys who started to run lean were guys with the smaller pulleys, just in case you were wondering.-NY

^^^^If you do ANYTHING to the super charger to get more boost you're eventually going to need bigger injectors
but I heard that you could do something where you took the SC apart and stuffed in some betta blades and it was kick ass
I heard Tek and Linefire talk about it forever ago and they where about to cum thinking about it
so I guess it wasnt a bad idea
