• Compressor housing Build up

Well I got bored And im upgrading my T3 .42/.48 to a T3/T4 Haybrid that would be .60/.48 so I got the housing off and I noticed it has a Black gooy resadue in the housing and built up on the impellor and all oparts instide. Is it ok to clean this up and polish it, I mean It will just be spare parts, but I like to clean things up . I just wanted to know if it will hurt the parts in any way. Thanks guys.

A Chevrolet 5.7-liter LS1 V8 with this much specific power (horsepower per cubic inch) would be making 2,137 hp

I got it used. So I have not used it in any of my car's I just wanted to know if It's ok to Polish the inside of the compressor and shine it all up, so it is all clean

i dont see why not, it would be like p&p-in the compressor housing, i just wouldnt take out too much tho, just a nice polish make it smooth for a better flow. someone with more turbo experience would be able to give a better direction than i can. but imo i dont see why not.
