    13:1-13.5:1

you may be able to go leaner and make power but I would do that on a dyno while watching knock, not on the street

well I should see considerable gains that difference then.

By the way does any one know:

If during the winter my battery dies in my car (due to storage)

does the AFC lose all the things I programed into it?

it should save them, I know whenever someone buys a used one they have to clear out the old settings

yeah you should feel quite a bit more kick in the ass in the higher RPM's, probably across the board for that matter

gotta be careful on the buttdyno like vinnie said, I leaned out to 14.3 in a small area near 2820rpms and ended at 3010rpms(all engines are different). I had to add fuel in that range and subtract from the rest. As far as the battery, Vinnie is right it retains the memory, I unplug my battery ALL the time because of countless projects on my car. The amount of pull above 4g is QUITE noticable, compared to before the SAFC.

No kidding...I drove my brother's stock SC2 and it felt pretty similiar to mine on a stock tune...nothing up top....then I go back to my tuning and can't get traction in first or second sometimes...probably picking up a good 15% hp gain on the tune...lol.

I felt more gain with mine tuned to 13.8-13.9-ish, than opposed to 13.1. I've got the knock sensor on the SAFC calibrated and it hasn't complained yet...lol.

do you have a set of cams on there though Nathan? sometimes they like to be leaner, or will read leaner from overlap (if I remember right)

                  oh sh!t,

I forgot to mention I have a set of fonzo cams I have yet to intstall.

That will come later this year if it ever warms up.

So I should go leaner with the cams?

I would tune for the cams on a dyno watching your knock. I have seen guys with cams tune for around the mid 14's to 15's just because of how much overlap there was.
