• Anyone ever have a plx wideband?

    Just asking for some feedback

    Thanks

I have the M300 for my car, although it's not installed yet.
I did use the same unit on my RX7, and I loved it. Mainly because it's not a gauge mount and you can put the box just about anywhere and still see the readout, which is really damn bright.

Bright readout, works, yay for WB. Seems fine and the sensor doesn't cost as much as others IIRC.

Uh, you mean how much delay or how quickly does it change? Change, real damn fast. I assume it has more to do with the how quickly can the sensor respond to a given change rather then can the led flash quick enough and have the info be converted by the controller. I will try and get a vid for ya this evening elvie when I get out of work.

            thanks man

I used to have the Lc-1 and the response time was incredible, it was basically real time.

The AEM had a delay and it seemed kinda laggy

so thats why im asking questions

              PLX tech demo:

Their tech brief on their sampling rate and accuracy of the sensor apparently.

I have both the M500 and the M300

Both are Identicle in performance ...

                Readings seem to be instant...

                THE ONLY ISSUE
is with the megasquirt... the reading in MegaTune is a little Skewed

                AND THATS IT!!!

                get it and enjoy

If it shows up right, there's gotta be a way to set it up properly in megatune..

M300, been working fine. Reaction is, as others mentioned, fast. No issues with it yet. Also have it hooked up to the MegaSquirt...havn't noticed any skewing issues.

Every sensor has some delay. weather its in the sensor, being too far from the engine or programmed into it. I have a delay feature to use with me LC-1, but I set it for instantious data transfer...which there is still a delay in lower rpm's because its about 30 inche from the engine and is in a 3inch pipe (not good for low engine speed exhaust flow)...plus the sensor has to intrepret, and transfer...it may be fast, but there is still some delay.
