    Just curious how far before the cat the wideband sensor needed to be installed. I was thinking around 4-6 inches, but I really don't have a clue.

    I think your looking to go about 18 inches from your exhaust port. That's where I would do it. Never heard how far before the cat.

      yah it should be around the stock location, or well the best area where the mix of all 4 collectors, if i am not mistaken its around 2-5inch from the oem one in the 92 style header, basically you want the best mix of all 4 collectors on the exhaust to read so you got an acurate reading.

        No, place it as far downstream as possible, BEFORE the cat. Heat kills heated sensors.
        07 Redline w/ stuff.<br /><br />89 Civic hatch w/o stuff.<br /><br />96 SL2 that dont need stuff.

          This is exactly what I was told, so that is why I was asking. Just wanted to see exactly where everyone else had theirs put.
