  • n20 question:

    Hey
Been contiplating going Nitrous for a while:

I really want to do a turbo, but I am really poor, and I want to pay off some credit card bills before I jump in to it:

    Anyways..

    You guys doing nitrous:
    Are you Running Direct port?
    or a TB Injection?

If you had ran both, what did you like better?

Ive been thinking about just running it from the Intake:
From what I am reading it seems safer.

I dont have the time nor the skill right now to make a manifold to allow for direct port.

Also.. what kits do you guys have?

and what did it cost you in total for the entire kit.

How much are they charging you to fill your bottle?

Just use a single fogger, especially for stock internals.

    I've got an NX kit.

$330 shipped with purge, used...if money is an issue, keep watching for used kits.

Nitrous here is like, $5.50 a pound, which is about as expensive as it gets.

I had a crappy one, but it quit working right before I unhooked the kit...still haven't gotten a decent one.

Pussy. I ran the 100 four times and it was rediculous with the shit tires I had. That probably didn't help the life of my car either though, lol.

                        lol, thanks guys.

Thats another thing I was thinking about: I dident quite understand.

                        2 steps colder plugs.

You wouldent run them on a stock engine, because it theirs a chance it wont det? right?

Well.. ok.. so you introduce nitrous: and you want them, so you dont get pre. det.

but what about all those times your just runnin the car with out nitrous?

I understand no one wants to change out the plugs everytime they feel like having a thrill..

but am I missing something here?

will 2 steps colder still be ok for everyday DDing?

They just get a little sooty looking for regular commuting...the hotter plugs stays hot enoughto keep the soot off.
