i have a 95 sc2 and ive been told that a dry kit is unsafe for my car.why?.,

next question...i have the incognito kit on my car now but barely feel a difference and dont even know if the guy hooked it up. all we have is a ground hooked up to the silinoid and also a power with a toggle switch to the silinoid and the line to the intake.....thats it......is that right>

next question..i have the 22 jet on the intake and idk what horsepower is for it but im not feeling much of a difference?

Dry kit adds nitrous only...the wet kit adds nitrous and fuel, which is much safer for the Saturn.

I'm not sure what sized bottle comes with the incognito kit, but with the 22 jet, you should be feeling something. It must be hooked up wrong in some way.

By your description, you have a ground, a power toggle switch (or arming switch), and the nitrous line to the intake.

What you're missing is a wide open switch...this would activate the system at wide open throttle only. The arming switch hooked by itself would spray the nitrous as soon as you arm the system...which could be at idle even, and that's not good.

I know it's a different kit/system but the NX smallest jet is a 31 (I believe) and in conjunction with the fuel jet it that is only for a 35hp shot.

And to add to what Jay said, you should have a wide open throttle (WOT) switch, don't use any of that "fast and furious" button stuff.

Also, what size bottle is in cluded in that setup?? As he said, regardless of size you should feel something when it's working, even if it's a small shot. Just remember not to spray it under 3k and not into the limiter. My window switch is set to 3200 - 6300 to keep it out of trouble.

I would check your wiring setup again. Also, while the engine is off and the bottle is closed, arm the system and hit the switch, you should hear the magnets in the solenoid clicking, that will tell you if the solenoid is at least operating.

i dont have the wot switch. where can i get one? how much? but yeah the silinoid clicks over when i hit the switch and i can hear nitrous going to the intake when i hit it i just barely feel it....

it comes with a 1.5 lb bottle, but i was going to buy a 10 lb bottle and use the same silinoid. would that work..... i want to know how much hp im getting from the 22 jet, should i just buy a new jet to be sure? i want a 50 hp jet

you're not getting all that much, I"d venture to say 10-15hp tops since you dont' have a very large bottle, and it's only a dry shot to begin with, so you wouldn't want to go too big anyway.

I would suggest buying the parts for a wet shot (i.e. wet kit fogger, fuel solenoid, lines, more jets, WOT microswitch, etc) if you want to put a shot of that size on the car. Even with a larger bottle and just that setup, you have the potential to eventually damage something. with a 50hp jet, definitely.

I suggest a wet shot on any stock engine. Unless you have some type of stand-a-lone to add fuel when you nitrous is on, then get wet shot.

A wet shot works in every automovite engine...a dry kit won't. They may work for a little while, but will eventually damage your engine.

                    What they said ^^

Honestly man, if you are gonna do it right I would pick up a whole new kit. Wether it's Nitrous Express or ZEX or Nitrous Oxide Systems, does not matter, they are all good companies.

Vinny (Schizzo) and myself both have the GM EFI wet kits from NX, it is a safe, reliable kit that damn sure is alot of fun. A full kit will have most of what you need. A gauge is good as well to monitor bottle pressure and a bottle warmer is a must, the purge kit is fun but not necessary.
