• NOS / NX

    Too tired to search lol.

Any preference between NOS and nitrous express?

At work [advance auto] I was browsing thru the catalogs we have and supriisingly have a NOS catalog and can get anything out of it. O yea and i get 20% off (employee discount).

Another benefit of using NOS brand is that I can buy those JDM NOS floor mats lololol

-- O yea also... they have a "pro race" direct port kit listed and a "regular" direct port kit listed for 4 cyl.. the pro race version is like $500ish and the regular one is like 900ish.. what the hell is the difference?

sounds like a good kit to me. And a good price. I just picked up a NX kit and i still need to install it. You may want to ask vinny he has the NX kit I just bought and he has answered all my questions.

I would go with the one people are most satisfied with. regardless of company.

I can only speak on what I have used and that is NX. I have been very happy with Nitrous Express.

Although, I do have a Nitrous Oxide Systems bottle heater on mine, as I got a good deal on it.

            They are both good brands.

they're both good Ralli, stop screwing around and get a kit already

Nytrex is what we put on Chris's, got it from American Motorsports. it's the style of NX but the size of N.O.S. and is pretty cheap, go look into them. mention you have a saturn too, they might throw you a bone if you're talking to Squirrel, they know me and Chris from filling bottles every week hahaha
they're both good Ralli, stop screwing around and get a kit already  It comes with stainless hard lines though which will be a little pain.

-And just for thoe wondering, i'm gonna be sticking to the wussy 80 shot(which is the lowest jetting for that kit) until later when i rebuild with forged goodies and i'll take it up a notch. Mainly want the DP for equal cylinder distribution and later when I upgrade i dont have to replace a bunch of stuff

i have both kits and they both work great. If you get 20% off NOS then you should go with them.

one thing about running smallest shot with the direct port system is that the jets are so small they are very susceptible to getting clogged up. anything can get caught in the line and shut down the jet completely. just be careful and make sure to check if something doesnt feel right.

as a matter of fact, I think that's what Jay (green monstah) is running, the pro race kit, I may be wrong though
