I took my head to a speed shop to have it rebuilt. i told him i just want a stock rebuild, but just out of curiosity asked how much a p&p would cost. he told me they do 3 different stages.
    stage 1=30HP!!!1!!!! $600
    stage 2=50HP!!!OMG!! $800
    stage 3=??HP!!! $????
i think he thought i was a stupid ricer(there seemed to be a lot around there) and was telling be bullshit to make money off of me. the stock rebuild is only going to cost around $350. by the way, the p&p prices were added to the $350. so i guess you can do a head swap and get the same power as a turbo!!!!!!11!! lol.

    $800 - jeesh.

I'd give you new springs, stainless valves, high temp seals, and port/polish job on a head that I'd provide.

20-25hp is a realistic increase on a good p/p job for the LLO.

            It's been done.

i'd spring for the 50hp build if it came with a guarantee. take it right on over to a dyno (then stop at the speed shop to collect my money on the way home)...
