Do you wan't forged or stock? You can usually find stock and some times forged internals on Ebay.

Cp or Ross for the pistons and Crower for the rods.

          Rods.

saturnmotorsports should have some CP 8.5:1 pistons. But you could probably get away with stock compression on 10psi.

you see i found another site that has ross, wiseco, mahle pistons for a pretty reasonable price and they have a performance overhaul that gives you everything minus the block and crank for pretty cheap...its http://www.importperformanceparts.com i know import but hey i did a vague search online for saturn pistons and this showed up...its not a bad site i think

be careful with the Wisecos from IPP and also remember the SCAT rods from SDA utilize a stock sized wrist pin. And most forged pistons use a pin thats .020" larger.

Machine shops can hone them out for about 40-60 dollars...and give you a custom fit size if you want.

heh. Actually, the bushing used on the SCAT rods is TOO small to bore out .020". You'd have to have the bushing removed, have the rod bored, and then a custom bushing installed.

                  and thats more expensive ........

How is it too small? Is the bushing only like .020 or so think?

I had some stocker honed out. The honing went into the steel backing a little, but it still ran fine. I put about 70K on them before they rods bent and went threw the block.

If they are too small to hoe out, sl2racer's ROSS pistons come with a stock size wrist pin.

Tristan brought his to the machine shop and they said that there wouldnt be enough material left on the bushing to bore them out. Instead they would have to bore the rod and insert a custom bushing

Suxors. Mine where kinda thin too, but they did the job just fine. I guess it comes down to the opinion of the guy working the machine.

You could always see how the first one turnes out...worst case senario, you have to bore out the entire bushing to fit a larger one in.

all i want to know is if i can get pistons or not from them or somewhere...i know im wanting ross 8.5:1 pistons and prolly crower rods and qksltwo intake and turbo cams and turbo manifold..but i need a head....a good one preferrably for forced induction....and i heard something about a 99 crank and bear bridge is the best to get? oh and im thinking about making my oil pan custom...shouldnt be hard lol...thats about it just wantin a DD that runs on 10 - 12 psi daily....i know i need injectors (low impedance, right?) and im going with MSnS, oh and that IPP had adjustable cam gears that i didnt know existed...so yeah i pretty much got it all planned out
