Just curious what type of modifications have been done to VUEs? i was wondering what a turbo-VUE or s/c vue would be like? just for shits and giggles, i don't expect that i'll ever do this, and i don't even own one at this point, but humor me

DOnt' know if there is enough room to turbo a 3.5, maybe a single turbo put in a smart place would do it...or two small turbos bolt right to the heads (all threes exhuast ports leave one opening in the head).

The 2.2 has lots of room, but you would have to run about 8-10 psi with a really good tune to put out the power that the 6 makes, and the 6 runs like a 16sec 1/4. They are just too heavy to make fast.

What about two T3/T4's near the exhuast, not in the engine bay.

NO room for them unless you modifyhow the exhuast leaves the engine bay. The rear bank does a retarded "U" thing under the engine by the oil drain plug.

2004 or 2005 Vue used the LSJ IIRC. Thing had some git up and go. It's the style with the square "S-series" style headlights.

speaking of vues...anyone else heard about the upcoming presumed 2nd gen vue? read that it's supposedly based off the (i think) Opel Antara with supposedly a 450hp V8... dunno if any of that's true though

*edit* eh...turns out that was a dated article, so it ain't true. would've been cool though. oh, and as far as i know, vue's never got the LSJ. they did get the craptastical VTi though

I'll probably post up some info about the '08 Vue soon. No V8, but some really nice setups will be available.
