• My homemade catch can

Decided to make one today instead of buying one. I tried the air compressor air/water seporator, but it would fill up half way and stop working even after I emptied it (I took off the white filter too).

I still gotta go to the hardware store tomorrow and get another fitting for the top. But the oil enters in the bottom, and air exits the top. Unscrew the cap to empty.

Yours filled up that fast? Are you running boost? The Air compressor one should be just fine if not. I know u tried it, but here is a link anyways

    Look here for a DIY : http://www.pbase.com/rsrock/oil_catch_can

Just click the ingredients picture for a parts list and such. Good Luck.

I have a catch can about the same size of a 20oz bottle and I can fill it in under 3 days

but 90% of it is water from the condasation inside the motor whin it cools bown

It was either the bottle I chose, a 2 liter, or spend $50 for a nice pretty one that does the same thing as my $1.29 bottle.

I have one that I think I bought for maybe 12 bucks on ebay? if you're that strapped on cash you can have it for what I paid. and it'll actually work.
