I've been tryin to find info on this issue but haven't had a lot of luck. can someone tell me what's the difference between a short shifter and a short throw shifter if there is a difference. thanx

I think that some people use the term short shifter to refer to one whose only modification is some length cut off of the top. A proper short throw shifter also extends the distance between the cable and the main pivot (lengthens the bottom), raises the pivot slightly for additional clearance beneath, and often extends the bellcrank for shorter side-side throws[16:02] Ferrari166mm: so you're finally getting into real cars.<br />[16:02] adamkob32: I've just had enough of racing a 100HP nutsack
