  • I got the bug.

When i bought my saturn i really just wanted to do a lil bit to it and that was it. but me and my buddies when to the track yesterday and even though my times were slow, i got addicted. so i got bold and decided to race my boy's mustang and i beat him. by the end of the night i was runnin around 16.3's (wit a whole bunch of junk in the trunk). but my question is...how do i get more torque? my car feels like it picks up on the top end but i just got lucky cuz i had a faster reaction time. help me out

    weight reduction is your friend.

remove the trunk stuff, and the rear seats next time out at the track....you'll see slightly better e/t's

as for more torque....throw some nitrous on that shit. A small shot (50) is safe and effective in giving that little extra fun at the track.

Doesn't matter. Hp is a funtion of torque and rpm (rpm/5252)Xtorque. The more torque the more HP. Its where you want the torque increase that is the trick....what rpms in the car in most the time down the track?

Depends how much you want, and what kind of money and time you can invest in the car.

We don't have weight reduction kits. The weight reduction we do is just taking shit out of your car and hoping for the best.

                            Is your car stock?

There's some N/A boltons, that will make your car more fun to drive, but it's honestly a waste of time. The only things that are dramatically going to increase lower your quarter mile times are practice, turbo/supercharging, or nitrous.
