the 91-98 I believe have the super dished pistons, 91-02 had mild dished (it might have been 91-97 and 98-02, I tend to confuse that bastard year)
the reason the pistons are dished is because the SOHC head has almost a flat combustion chamber as opposed to the pent roof of the DOHC head, so they needed to make room somewhere else. a lot of guys will run that combo with boost since compression is down to around 8.5 or maybe a few points higher as opposed to the stock 9.5:1 CR.
I've seen a few people do this without boost and they performed alright, but if you want to possibly run low boost on this engine later on I'd take this route for sure.

YES, you can do it.
I just did it.
NO, you should not do it. It's 100x easier to buy a new car, or drop a whole engine in.
Here's a list of some of the stuff you're going to need:
Head
Intake manifold
Exhaust manifold/downpipe
Fuel rail
Injectors
Coolant lines
Cams
Cam bolts
Timing chain cover
Timing chain kit
Oil pan tie plate and pickup tube
Probably lots of other random crap. Just get a donor car, or a complete motor. It sounds like you have absolutely no idea how a car works, so just buy a new one.

ONly 91-98 sock pistons have a dish.
I always second guess that they started in 98 since it's the second bastard year like 95. bah.
