This isnt really for me, but i saw it and that it was a pretty good idea.
It keeps the engine safe from nitrous, but cools down your intake.

also you dont loose pressure drop like you would with a intercooler.

what do you think?

"my opinion, not worth 800 dollars. Maybe if you have a turbo, supercharger, it eliminates having to have a intercooler. Or you can also get the intercooler and spray the intercooelr.

either way i woudnt get a whole setup just maybe the intercooler spray, or the intake spray. but not both."

I recall hearing about someone at an SPC rally that had a dry-ice intercooler, kind of a simmilar deal. The car apparently made way too much power, and just spun its tires the whole time. Too much focus on power, not enough on balance & control.

When I first looked at that, and saw them calling it "CryO2", I saw "O2" and thought they were using liquid oxygen for something, and went

it gets back the power you're losing from the hot air. notice how in the fall/winter your car runs better? same idea

I would NOT run this in place of an intercooler

Exactly. It just helps keep the power robbing heat down. It isn't going to produce "lots" of power on most normal cars (just keeps things cooler and more efficient) and I definately would not even begin to consider replacing an intercooler with this.

Put it too you this way, for every 10* you drop the air intake temp down you get 1 hp (Or get it back I should say.)

or if your running a hi comp engine and the heats making you miss you'll gain back a lot more with full cumbustion. Thats my problem.

I've been looking at buyong on of the 3" intake adapters as I already have a nitrous bottle and solinoid. But I'm waiting on a XRC scoop that I'm trying to buy from someone.

Bought a 2001 Saturn SC2 new, sold it in 2008, bought it back in 2017. I don't know why.

that 1% more horespower. with a 100 hp engine, its 1hp, with a 300hp engine you get about 3hp...then the next 10 degress you drop will be 1%of the 101 or 303

what you could do is run it on the cold side of the piping for added security

or even better on the hot side so the cold side will be insanely cold..

but i see this as a restriction.
