is it a manual or an automatic? seriously go check the search function out,.

to get simple gains out of any engine one must open up the airflow, less restriction means less work which in turn mean more power. alot of peoples first modification is an intake, this opens up airflow into the engine which makes it "breath" better, which means more power. now that your engine is inhaling better now you must let it exhale better, an exhaust system, be it a catback, or just a muffler. and of course an after market exhaust manifold helps as well.

so long story shortmake it breath better and you will be pushed into your seat more

my fist car was a 95 sl2 automatic and it did me fine....get an intake and you will love the sound and performance gain, its not so much horspower, but you will fell the difference getting on the freeway and such....the brand of the intake doesnt really matter, you could go on ebay and get one for like 10 bucks, its the filter that really matters, geta good filter such as, k&n AEM, etc those are the best bet.

If you want to feel your back in the seat, just get a 50hp shot of nitrous.

Hell yeah, ain't that the truth Vin. I know I did, bang for the buck it's the best thing for a little extra fun lol.

You can do alot little stuff for little gains that in the long run may add up for a difference. That is how everybody usually starts out for fun and it just keeps going. Intake, Hi-flow (or no cat) exhaust system, weight loss, etc....

you are going to get alot of different opinions from everbody. I would just cruise thorugh the threads (here and TSN) and read about what has worked and not worked for others.

my first two mods were intake and muffler - definitely the way to go first off. I haven't gotten it yet, but i heard a computer chip will give you a nice kick.

The only time there will ever be chips is when someone cracks the ECU.. fully.
