  • help with motor mounts

I know what to buy to fill the mounts, I know to fill them, I'm just curios which mounts to fill, and can you fill the TAM on the 06 Ion's , and the front trans mount are there any others that can be filled to be benifical to the reduction of wheel hop? and maybe there locations? thanks

I have the front trans mount and that is it, after I put my springs on, I have 0 hop. that's the only one I would suggest stiffening up.

yes, it's got 3 bolts that mount to the tranny/block and one that goes through the center to mount to the frame. take the frame one out first to access the others. also, you do not need to support the engine if that mount is being removed, it supports only lateral movement.

I have a set of Eibach's, but I would imagine it would be the same with all for the most part at least.

about an hour and a half from Tampa area

I let mine cure 2-3 days, maybe 4. wanted to make sure the compound was all set. I just picked up more the other day so I have it on hand for those who are supposed to send me their mount to fill.
