• OBX header and O2 sensor question?

I was curious what people with the OBX header and a first gen 02 sensor? The bung is too big to fit the stock sensor. I am sure this has been asked but a search turned up nothing.

    Anybody got any suggestions?

I had to buy a 92 O2 sensor the the 92 Exhaust Manifold I got. Not sure, but maybe a different year's O2 will fit.

The OBX will most likely turn on a SES light. So it wouldnt matter. Just find the right size

lol, I have not had an SES light in the car for three years now. A '98 fit right in and did the trick.

YES, BUT THAT'S A FACTORY '98 HEADER, NOT AN OBX. THE OBX WILL GIVE YOU A LIGHT.

measure it and take it to AutoZone to find one that will fit it.

                Listen tard's:

There are two o2 sensor sizes.

One came on cars from 91-94, it has a smaller bung size.

The other comes on pretty much EVERY car, its an 18x1.5mm size.

NOT THAT HARD TO COMPREHEND yay

I done warned this tard already, when he logs on and gets the message. He reminds me of...... well me back in January. I'll talk to him and council him, he doesn't seem to even know the basics....... so to start from scratch.......

LOL Jeremy. Yeah the O2 sensor from a '98 Saturn fit right in no problem. I stopped by the yard and grabbed three of them so I got's plenty.

I tried to tell the other guy that I have no SES light as i removed it three years ago.

Well, that was brilliant. That's the trusty Saturn "TUNER" light........

I'd be worried if it was actually off on our cars.

For the THIRD TIME in this very thread on this same screen, I put a 1998 O2 sensor in the OBX header and works GREAT!!!

                            - That is all.
