    that has been explained almost word for word on this site numerous times due to people bringing up the "backpressure" argument.

    the only thing that differs with the the saturn world is pipe size, because of how much this engine flows and the realistic amounts of power produced.

        yeah backpressure is bad, but lower end some is needed to make most of the engine unless its turbo.

        just in the simplest form, so vinny wont jump me again and we start typing a bunch of shit to come to the same conculsion [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/lol.gif[/img]

            Then take your turbo off the car.. it runs on BACK PRESSURE.

                  Honestly you can do all the mufflers, piping sizing, etc. That becomes obsolete (SP?) unless you port the exhaust. Yeah it helps but dont expect a huge gain from going bigger.
                  2002 Saturn SL1- 5 speed, basic, slow, and staying that way.
