  • sound damper... i think

    u know the piece of carpet under the hood, can u take it out with out it hurting anything....i dont want the heat to hurt my paint or anything.....i know this is a stupid question...but just wondering....

    Ditch it. All it does is add weight and reduce those musical vroom vroom sounds. [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_twisted.gif[/img]

      if you plan to add a turbo, hold onto it. The extra heat over the turbo will slowly damage the paint.

        i couldnt figure out why there was oil everywhere... on the valve cover, over the air filter, ontop of the throttle body... i would clean it and it would just keep coming back, it really had me freakin, then i realized it was on that damn thing so as soon as i closed the hood it was back on everything, so yeah i ditched mine
