If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

and I will tell you why. The weak part, is the piston itseld and the material it's made out of. I've not seen an engine fail due to a rod breaking that didn't have something to do with poor oil maintence. What you need to be looking as is the amount of hp you want, not the amount of boost. there are people that have claimed to be pushing 28psi and still only make mid 300hp range.

How this happens? poor tuning or a poor setup.

Focus on the hp goal. If you want more than 250ish, go forged or don't go at all. Even at that, 250hp in a saturn (crank) is faster than some might think.

have you ever seen one of sam's old rods? that was not poor oil maintenance, those fuckers flat out bent and failed.
