Why are my trap speeds faster than cars in the 16's yet w/ my crappytalistic driving my car didn't get there


I wasn't peeling out


I actually didn't really move AT ALL in the beginning

I remember Vin saying something about peeling out making them faster, but I didn't peel out, I just , shit i don't think I even chirped

if their cars accelerate faster, but have shorter gearing their engiens my not produce enough power to hit the same trap speed as yours, but they may move faster at first. its possible to go faster but take longer then some one in a 1/4 if they accelerate better but dont get as much time between shifts.

they have that much better of a launch then you, that's why.

Jay and I with his old engine ran almost the same times, but I trapped 8 mph or more higher. my 60' was also .2 slower.

uhh i dont think 80 is faster than cars in the 16's man. But yeah, that 60 foot is horrible for a rear wheel drive car as light as you. Especially since you said it wasnt peeling out.

my 60 foot was 2.48 (with shit bald tires), my trap was 85.79 mph (this was a 16.1 run). Hopefully you can compare a lil bit.
