i got my head gasket and intake gasket today. along with both front sturt mounts to replace the ones that just took a crap on me. waiting on my air fuel gauge and my head that jay said he was probablly going to have done tonight. then build will happen probablly in the next week or two due to lack of time between both jobs and school and tring to ring in jay and sam for some BEER and working on my beast.

what is getting done.
rebuilt the bottom end 20k ago so still like butta.(done)
phatom grip and welded diff pin.(done)
open exhaust due to broke off at the flex pipe. hehehe(done)
just installed my walburo pump last week.(done)
jay has shaved /ported and polished the shit out of the head.
new vavle seals. and if jay feels giving he said he may hook me up with the 98 valve springs(you don't wanna know what i have to do for jay hahaha)
set of gude cams
safc and air fuel gauge

also have 100 shot jets too. going to stick with the 75 to get some baseline numbers but then it is on like donkey kong.

just incase i should pop the engine i am picking up a spare engine this week sometime.

14.2 before this stuff and 13's here i come.

thursday i will be pulling off the old head just in time for jay and maybe sam to come over and help reinstall the new one. hot shit right there.

yes i am working on this. i am sorry ut is taking some time. kara traded her truck in so now i don't have a truck to tow a trailer yet. kara is getting a hitch on it and then i can use the trailer. and i am tring to find time between the couples hours a day that i am using for sleep.

kara said she will have a hitch before monday so how about monday i can come get it.

well just got done removeing the old head and preping for the new head install.

EVERY SINGLE LIFTER IN MY HEAD WAS STUCK!!!!!!!!
yes there was no squishyness to any of them. jays face said it all then he said" did this thing make a lot of noise? at least they were all stuck in the open position. "

all else was good. we quit for tonight due to tiredness and light. jay and sam will be over tommorrow so hopefull we can get it all done tommorrow. if not saturday after work it should be done.

the new head is fucking solid. i have cams sweet. i even bought (get this) a new timing kit. that was for you scooter.

mine had 200000 miles on them. i actually had to break 2 of them loose and use them in this new head. pure black crap came out of the lifter once i got it loose.

jay keeps saying 13's is sitting on the ground. hahaha talking about the new head sitting on the ground of my garage. hahaha

looks like the beast will be down till atleast monday. i don't know what else to check. jay is going to look at it monday and i have this shitty feeling that i am just going to have to go buy all new lifters. no money is owning my ass right about now.

beast will be down for at least a few more days. i had a bit of a mishap today.

the lifters had still been stuck so i took the exhaust side out and recleaned and loosened up those lifters. reinstalled it. then this is where i start getting into so hot water. while i was tring to get the intake cam off with out messing up the timing i noticed the gear started to move. so i stopped and figured i would just reinstall everything and wait for reinforcements. well i guess i must have not had the cam gear lined up right with the cam when i reinstalled it and didn't notice it.

it had a funny sound when i started it up afterwards but i figured it was just more stuck lifters. then sam shows up and listens and he hears lifters. so we decided to drive it up to the autoparts story and get some atf fluid. we didn't make it 1/4 mile from the house and she died.

sam's turbo monstah was towing my n2o beast home.

opened it up and i noticed the nipple is torn off the end of the cam where the gear is suppost to line up. also notice a few intake lifters that are completely stuck. also while taking the intake cam out the cam tensioner clicked a couple of times which means now have to remove the timing cover and set the timing again

damn. well, we knew the lifters were shit, but you had to go screw with it. I'll be over Monday to drink your beers. And maybe we'll look at the car. LOL.

and she's buying 16 new lifters? holy shit...they are pretty expensive you know. I think they are around $50 each.
