dude im in your shoes and everyone wants to charge you like 200 bucks for a tb or get this.............................................. 800 bucks for a whole god damnd motor. dedededededededede so guess what im guna do. but im planing on a bit of a serious build. depending on your aplication you might want to look into a whole motor. but ebay had a few for like 70 bucks. and then 250 for a bored out one

A Chevrolet 5.7-liter LS1 V8 with this much specific power (horsepower per cubic inch) would be making 2,137 hp

I love mine. I got mine from saturn motorsports. The price was a lot cheaper than for me than doing it myself. I had a hard time trying to find someone to do mine the right way without paying an arm and a leg.

I actually do them very cheap, if not just cost of shipping. I just need to pick up another rotary tool and die grinder setup, along with some more drums. Mine wore out from all that I've done and finally died when making the solenoid plate a while back.

when you purchase one of the throttle bodies from SMS or SPS, they have a price plus core deposit. if you don't send your original throttle body back, they keep the core charge, otherwise they refund it.

something to interject here guys, porting out your own throttle body is a risk, and you should not do it unless you know what you are doing. a little bit ago, someone tried boring out their S series TB, and they made an oval shape and grounded the throttle plate too flat and skinny. his idle was all weird, and he didnt notice any gains at all. In otehrwords, LET THE PEOPLE THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING DO IT FOR YOU, OR LEARN HOW TO!

I sent mine to MinniVan Tuner when I had mine done. But there are several people on here that know how to bore them out.
