• Phantom Grip????

OK so I have a phantom grip and a stock differential sitting on my work bench now.

My problem now is that I can't remove the diff pin.???? there is a 3 inch cotter pin that is holding it in place and I can't remove it nor can the local Saturn technicians. We have both broke iron punches trying to punch it through and it wont drill out either. How the crap do you get it out???????????????????????????

by cotter pin you mean the retainer pin? that rolled piece of steel?.

continuously hit the diff pin till it breaks. the easiet way would probably be to heat the area around it then try and punch it out or pull it. when you are trying to knock it out with the punch, i bet it goes inside the pin and probably keeps it held in place because it in side the pin.

                  OK

Took it to the Saturn dealsership (big mistake) thy jacked it up and now it will need to go to a machine shop to be drilled out.
