Pshhhh once a Saturn lover always a Saturn lover.... But yea I'm back, my mom as most of you know helped me not only buy my car but she helped me afford to mod it too... And as I've said here before I have payed her back in full for all moneys borrowed since...

But as most of you don't know yet, my mother passed away last week and it was a real shock to be honest.... And the car was a real source of some special times for me and her... So I needed my baby back... Kinda my tribute to her.... Idk sounds gay I know.... But that's my true story and what's going on in my life for now... Next is trying to figure out what's going on with the house, cause I live here... And now it's lawyers and sorting thru cloths.... Idk but I just kinda needed My car back to escape it all at least from time to time....

sorry to hear about your mom.

Any closer pics of your mirrors? I've never looked that closely at comparing them.
It's not my fault, blame the radiation.

I'm sorry that your mom passed away.
Mirror looks good & like that it matches the wheel color.
cool that you are willing to try stuff like this.

Yea ill get some close up shots today when the sun comes out, and thank you guys....

I still have SOME adjusting todo on the bottom cause there is a little bit of a gap but it's nothing that a filler piece of the bottom window trim won't cover up.... Eventually I do want to make my own mounting plate, since the mirror is a two piece I was thinking split it and make my own so it would look 100 percent factory....

Like I said it looks PRETTY good, it's far from perfect but it's also not that noticeable unless your a nit pick like me or really know what saturns look like....

Thanks man, that means alot to be honest....

And hey the ductape roof is silver too don't forget.... Lol about that btw I'm starting to look into one of those retractable canvas rood systems to install... I'm getting some money thru a insuance policy my mom had taken out so im thinking about actualy giving the car a real paintjob, a real convertible roof, new quieter exhaust, and new powdercoat for the wheels and header....

But until that time comes it's still ductape...

Oh and btw the modifying I talk about when saying it wasn't a bolt on item, is I had to elongate the mounting holes on the door about a quarter to a half inch downwards and pound some metal a tad, but all tree mounting points sit flush and are nice and tight so I guess that's a good thing.... Lol

Just remember the most important thing when dealing with rough times in your life:

Take it one step at a time, you can make it through anything.

Thanks man.... It's honestly been tough to do that with so much going on.... It really sucks too because it's like i can't even find the time to properly mourn about the death of my mother.... And it saddens me to think that but unfourtunatly that's the gods honest truth.... I get to meet with my lawyer tuesday to help me figure out whats going on legal wise so I can stop worrying about that....

But god it's amazing how much stuff you accumulate in 55 years of life.... She has sooooooooo many cloths it's just unbelievable....
