I took the electric trunk latch from my parts car, and noticed it has 4 wires. It has a red wire with a black stripe, a grey wire, black wire, and a thick black wire. What are these wires?

if i had to guess I would say ground, truck light trigger, ground from the trunk switch and power, in completely random order.
thats a complete guess though. Get a test light, figure it out -
I already had the harness cut off the other car, so i did an experiment with it on my counter. I came up with these results:
Thick Black = Ground
Thin Black = Trigger
Grey = Positive
Red/Black = Trunk Light
I looked at it and found the trunk light switch and the wire connected to it. Followed it up and found the pin that is the trunk light. Woohoo, 1 narrowed down. I saw that the thick black one had its own spade terminal, and was connected to the entire unit. Yay, ground! I then just tried the grey and red/black wires on positive until i came up with a match.
