what exactly do you mean better? smaller tire = bumpier ride.. more meat = a little bit nicer, its all preference

I mean for acceleration and top end. And for looks.

well again, looks are all preference, but the bigger the rim the more it weighs so keep that in mine the size isnt going to change acceleration.. only thing the rim will change is handling. wider rim and smaller the sidewall on the tire will improve handling.

lightweight 16's with a moderate drop should be fine.

I prefer 17s for look, fit just right if you ask me. Many guys go with 15s for performance because of the lighter weight.

16" is a good compromise between the two, and generally looks good with say a 1.5-2" drop. It also depends entirely on what kinda of rim you get. Cheap ones weigh a hell of a lot more than a nice forged rim. And if you pick a nasty style, it won't look no matter what size you get.

                It's all in preference mainly.

Lightest wheels possible with smallest diameter possible on said size wheel for acceleration in a slow n/a turd.

typically ........ 16's for performance, hell 15's even

looks, typically 17's will look better.

16's are a nice medium IMO, but if you can find some lightweight 17's, then thats the ticket.

id like 17's as i have a certain tire look i like, but i think im going with 16's. of course it also depends on the brand of wheel, because like guys said WEIGHT!!

if your looking for performance, then your going to spend a good amount of money. no ZOMG $500 PACKAGE!!!!!! is ever going to be performance. look into gram lights, 5zigen, weld, o.z, rays, things of that sort. i would mention the wheels i want, but then someone else would get them before i can get them. i will say they are 16" and i think weigh in at about 14lbs. the wheels i wanted at first were ssr, but im not crazy with symmetrical wheels but fell in love with the weight, 11lbs!!!!

off topic, but didnt you say youve run 225's on your car with little to no rubbing? the tires i want to get are 225 50 16 and wasnt sure i was going to be able to pull it off.
