Cool Billy, your HID's are gonna love that projector, as they were meant to be.

Are you gonna paint the housings another color or try to chrome the new addition??

ahh, that will look nice IMO. Leaving only the reflectors for the signal and high beam. Should look good on the car day and night man.

lol you don't wanna know but I'll humor you ....

              TSX Projectors: $185
              Maxima Ballasts: $180
              Used Headlights(for practice): $70
              New Headlamps(for final version): $250
Misc Parts and tools(including a bench grinder and dremel tool): $100
Thats what I have in this so far ...... just under $800. And I still need bulbs $75ish and more materials $30-$40

So when its all said and done, this will easily cost me $900+
NOT for the faint of heart lol

This is on my "to-do" list. I see this retrofit done alot on the Honda-Tech forum; thats where I first got the idea. Really cool to see one of "us" do it (very nice work BTW, can't wait to see the final product!). Is there a reason why everyone seems to lean toward TSX components? Size? Price?

BTW... I get a kick out of you West Coast guys.

hey Supra, if i send you a massive check, you wanna do that to my 1st gen lightss???? lol, that is awesome dude. If there were a brightest headlight of the year award, you would win the saturn class!!

it would be a landslide, I honestly don't know of a single other Saturn that has gone this far. It's possible though I guess.

And as far as making another set. I really gotta get these done first. Then just go from there. But I seriously wouldn't even think of doing it for less than $1000. Especially if its not a 3rd gen coupe cause I would kinda have to learn that headlight too. I took a look at an ION Sedan light the other day at Saturn. Those would be a tond easier than the ones I'm working on right now.
