  • air dam

    does it do anything? the gf scraped mine and ripped it 1/2 off today? should i put it back on or can i get rid of it?

          i haven't inspected yet to see if it is okay or not, i just know that 1/2 of it is hanging. bitches.. oh well

            you know, mine came off like 3 months ago and Im to lazy to put it back on.
            so far, no problems

                    hmm, JBP offers a polished aluminum one for cobalt/ion application. looks hella nice compared to the plastic ones, and supposedly won't deflect at high speeds, but if that's the case, it would just get crushed the first time you miss-judge a curb [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif[/img]
                    but if you're interested, it would probably fit s-cars just fine. haha

                      yup, used to have a dsm. didnt have one when I bought it. I just made one out of aluminum, looked like crap, but it was strictly a race car so oh well

                            The Coupes (SC's) are usually the only ones effected by taking/leaving it his off. Yes, they over heat. My SL hasn't had one since I've had it. No probs w/ the Sedan.

                              i had mine off all summer and had no problems. And I had a cracked radiator. Maybe I just got lucky...
