    what speakers do the 04 ions have....size i mean....door and rear?

    ALL Saturns have 6 3/4" speakers. You can usually get 6 1/2" speakers to fit no problem.

        Yes I have. Depending on the speaker, you may need to purchase or make an adapter to push it out farther or it may interfere with the window rolling down.

          yep he did mine

          we had to take the magnet cover off and take a dremel to a piece of plastic and make it fit behind the speakers.... maybe that's whats rattling now lol

            no i just want stock size.....but somthing a little better....plus my drivers side door speaker is busted....can we say hecho en mexico

              right im using stock size speakers. the issue is the depth. most after market speakers use a stronger magnet

                bingo. put some spacer rings in there. first time i was replacing speakers in my door, i thankfully already had the window down, so i knew right away it wouldn't fit. [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/redface.gif[/img]
