  • Exhaust

Ok so 've been trying to track down some specifics on my exhaust. it is a 2004 ion redline. I need to know the muffler body length, input, output, and the configuration. (oval or round) i mean i could left the car and do it myself, but my car is in the shop, and i'm trying to get my new exhaust squared away before i get it back. I'm looking to throw a Borla on there, but they don't make any product specifically for my car. So any help would be awesome.

    Thanks guys

um i find that very very hard to believe. they are both delta chassis. the only difference might be a flange and any good exhaust shop should be able to hook you up

i find it very easy to believe that that's what he was told. at least from the dealerships and GM people. there's still people at my dealership swearing up and down that the header on my car can't possibly be from an LSJ. so it's not much of a stretch for me to imagine him being told that.

i still dont know why you dont go with a magniflow or a borla kit.

the cobalt ones will work im almost 99.999999999999999999999% sure of it

the RL exhaust is a little bit longer! Guys have tried putting SS exhausts on RL's and they haven't made it past the rear bumper. I believe some also had issues with the actual hanging of the SS exhaust on the RL.

                              Just FYI.
