just hid my antenna

dont know if anyone else has done this, but i just hid the antenna in the plastic above the door, id have taken pictures but camera is broken right now. if i can borrow someones camera ill take pics, but so far no decrease in FM signal, i like it

yeah i did that same exact thing, i first started with it behind my fender but the reception was too great, and the antenna would tap against the metal back tehre.

so i moved it to where you have urs now, and i personally think reception of the FM signal kinda dropped, i have barely a signal when i go through dover NH where i always had signal before

i havent drove around but out front of my apartments it sounds the same.. has anyone else done this?

whatd you do, bend it back?

1) remove plastic around top of door (5 torx screws) 1 in black plastic cover and 4 in the plastic along the top of the door 4th is hidden by black plastic cover)
2) unscrew antenna (wrench)
3) remove 10mm bolt closer to rear of car from bracket holding antenna
4) rotate the bracket ~ 45أƒئ’أ¢â‚¬إ،أƒâ€?أ‚آ؛ counter clockwise (may have to loosen other 10mm bolt)
5) screw antenna back in
6) hide under plastic
7) screw everything back together

estimated time 15 minutes?
