  • What hood is this?

What hood is this, and where can I get it?

EDIT : Apparently it is made by APC and is carbon fiber. Anyone know if a similar hood is made that ISN'T carbon fiber. I'd rather not waste money on carbon fiber and just paint over it.

Where did you find that? I like it, and may just get it.

And I agree on the carbonfiber thing

      Cheapest I have found it:

Wish I could find it without CF, would be a few hundred cheaper

Yeah Justin, I have only ever seen that design for the 3G coupe hood in carbon fiber and manufactured from APC unfortuantely. The fitment on them is not the best, i have two friends with them and the fitment leaves something to be desired. The clearcoat also fades to white really bad.

That last part being said, if you could find a used one like that for cheap, due to the bad condition than you could just paint right over it and be done.

Of course, you gotta find a used one like that for cheap lol.

            Tom01SC2?

Carbon fiber is lighter, but you're saving maybe 20 pounds on the hood...I have no idea. Not enough that it's going to make any sort of difference.

Nice rims except for the fact they are 17"s, and Enkie. Cheap, lame, small, tuner wheels.

But if you are going to upgrade wheels, why not take it one step further and get 18"s instead of the 17"s?

Too big? 18s limit your choices of tires iirc. Also, 18s are damn heavy.

I'm actually going 16s most likely.

I am seriously going to put a big 15" sticka in my window since everyone has 22" and 40"

I love my 17s. I tried 18s, and I hated the ride quality over the 17s.
I have two of those Enkei Shoguns sitting here that I have tried forever to find two more, or to sell them. Anyone want 'em? lol
