  • cluster light problems *fixed* pics added

About 6 months ago I installed the aluminum faced gauges on my 01 SC2, and since then all but one light are out. I removed the 2 up top to keep them from shining on the gauges, since then I had put them back in to see if it was the problem. I didn't mind untill recently when it is always dark when I drive, can someone tell me how to fix this? Can I just use wires from the one that does work to see if I have a short in the board?

did you try replacing the bulbs that are out?

and did you use a new set of faces? or are you talking about the bezel?

they aren't burned out. I know because everytime I move them around it is the exact same spot that is lighting up. I installed the white faced gauges off of SPS. originally I was trying to use LED's but now I just want it to work, if one bulb is out does that make all of them not work?

the others should still work if a bulb is burnt. You may have damaged something with the LED venture? I dunno

the guy at Saturn here said if it is missing one it won't work so I'm gonna try to use a wire until one is delivered

OK, I got it now, the circuit board WAS fried. I got it working now, and I had to use LED's after all( wired into switch).

lol, you can hardly see anything man lol. Go back and put foil over the white plastic or something. maybe you'll get a lil bit better reflection or something. And please tell me you cleaned up those wires some before sticking that thing back in there, lol fire
